BATON ROUGE, La. (WAFB) - Two people were taken to the hospital after a vehicle became submerged near the LSU campus Thursday night.

Officials responded to the scene at West Lakeshore Drive and South Campus Drive a little before 9 p.m.

The Baton Rouge Emergency Medical Services confirmed they transported two people from the scene. Their conditions have not been released.
