PULASKI COUNTY, Mo. — A school in Pulaski County has received threats following a magician's planned visit in October.

According to a Pulaski County Sheriff's Office social media post, law enforcement responded to threats made toward staff at Crocker School on Wednesday, Sept. 24.

The post says the school received "threatening" emails and calls from parents over the magician coming to the school.

Sheriff Stacy Ball said in the post that none of the messages from the individuals were identified.

"We have increased security measures in and around the school, and detectives, along with Chief Larson, are on-site working to identify the callers responsible," Ball said in the post. "If those individuals are identified, they will be prosecuted to the fullest extent of the law."
