PROSSER, Wash. – The 36th Annual Great Prosser Balloon Rally is set to take off at sunrise on September 26, 27 and 28 from the Prosser Washington Airport, featuring hot air balloons from across the Northwestern U.S.
Spectators are invited to arrive early, around 6:15 a.m., to watch pilots prepare and launch the balloons. Some attendees might even get the chance to help inflate and chase the balloons.
This year, the event includes a new shuttle service partnership with Ben Franklin Transit for the Night Glow event. Buses will run from 5:30 p.m. to 8:30 p.m., offering free rides to alleviate traffic.
Parking and admission are free. However, parking is limited, so attendees should be prepared to walk from street parking or downtown.
