The undefeated West Linn Lions (3-0) welcome the Camas Papermakers (2-1) from across the Columbia River in an interstate matchup of state title contenders.

West Linn escaped with a 31-24 victory against Washington powerhouse Sumner last week. Quarterback Sloan Baker connected for two touchdown passes, and Josiah Molden hauled in one of those touchdowns and made a key interception in the win.

Camas, a 4A state finalist a year ago , enters after a 35-22 victory over Tacoma Lincoln last week. Senior quarterback Tyson Ruggiero threw for 206 yards and four touchdowns, and junior running back Thor Brody piled up 113 yards and a touchdown on 31 carries.

In the last head-to-head meeting in 2021, West Linn prevailed with a 24-14 victory over the visiting Papermakers.
