MOBILE, Ala. (WKRG) — The Jackson State University Tigers will take on the Alabama A&M Bulldogs during the Mobile Sports Authority's annual Gulf Coast Challenge.

The GCC is a football game held in Mobile at Ladd-Peebles Stadium between two Historically Black Colleges and Universities.

Many events are set to be held ahead of the football game on Saturday, Oct. 4.

Events start on Thursday, Oct. 2, with a college and career fair and a gospel concert.

On Friday, Oct. 3, another concert will be held. Saturday morning, a parade and tailgate concert will be held before kick-off.

Event details are as follows:

Thursday, Oct. 2 • College & Career Fair | Mobile Convention Center | 8:30 a.m. - 1 p.m. • Gospel Explosion Concert featuring Dietrick Haddon | Ladd-Peebles Stadium | 6 p.m.
