FRESNO, Calif. (KSEE/KGPE) - Traffic was backed up after a crash on Highway 41 in Fresno Thursday evening.

The crash happened around 6:30 p.m. on Highway 41 near the 128B Mendota exit onto Highway 180.

The collision involved three vehicles. According to a witness, an SUV was driving fast and crashed into a white sedan, which then crashed into a white pickup.

At least three ambulances responded to the scene. The witness said at least one person was taken to the hospital. Their condition is currently unknown.

Images from the scene show a white Toyota sedan with its back crushed in and the SUV's front damaged.
