Pompton Lakes won its seventh consecutive game with a 2-1 victory against Emerson Boro in Emerson.

All three goals came in an exciting first half, as Josh Baez and Nick Latora scored for Pompton Lakes.

Ryan Leone netted his sixth goal of the season for Emerson Boro.

Emerson Boro goalie Brayden Blanken recorded a career-high 10 saves in defeat.

Pompton Lakes takes its winning streak and 7-1 record into a rematch with Saddle Brook on Sept. 29. The former earned a 1-0 win in the first meeting.

Emerson Boro’s record is 5-4.
