WASHINGTON TWP. — Utica Ford’s perfect season in the Macomb Area Conference White Division cross-country race ended Thursday with a resounding effort.
The Falcons’ boys cross-country team capped the season with an outright league championship at the MAC White Division championships at Stoney Creek Metropark.
Utica Ford racked up just 34 points to win the championship meet by 16 points. That effort, coupled with a win at the first MAC White jamboree and an unbeaten dual meet record, gives the Falcons the rare league title.
Sterling Heights Stevenson finished second (50) at the league meet, while Macomb L’Anse Creuse North (77), Grosse Pointe South (93), St. Clair Shores Lakeview (158), Clinton Township Chippewa Valley (160), Port Huron Northern (165) and Warren Mott (222) rounded out the
