CLINTON TWP. – Taylor Peeples came through in the clutch Wednesday by serving notice.

The Eastpointe senior captain ended the Macomb Area Conference Bronze Division volleyball match with four straight aces, as the Shamrocks defeated Clinton Township Clintondale 25-22, 26-24 and 25-8.

Peeples finished with 10 aces on the night to lead Eastpointe (2-6-0, 1-4).

Freshman Cassidy Richardson had six aces and two kills, freshman Terrin Coleman chipped in with five aces and junior captain Kaliyah Favors contributed three kills for the Shamrocks. Peeples had four straight aces.

Clintondale slipped to 1-6-0 and 1-3 in the conference.
