(KRON) -- A Hong Kong-founded bakery chain is closing its remaining Bay Area locations. Kee Wah Bakery is closing two locations next month, the business announced online.
Kee Wah Bakery is closing its Cupertino and Dublin shops, with its last day on Sunday, Oct. 5. The bakery called the closure a "difficult decision." Kee Wah Bakery said it will focus its operations on four Southern California locations.
"It was a difficult decision for our company, and we are most grateful for the tremendous support we have received from our loyal customers and our most hardworking staff," Kee Wah Bakery wrote in a letter. "While this chapter ends, our company continues to focus on the development of business in the Los Angeles area and expanding our operations in Hong Kong, Taiwan, China and Singapore.
