(KRON) -- The San Pablo Police Department has released photos of an arson suspect wanted in connection to torching a car last Thursday.

SPPD said officers responded at 4:17 a.m. to reports of a vehicle fire in the 13900 block of San Pablo Avenue.

"Upon arrival, officers located a vehicle parked within a carport, fully engulfed in flames," said San Pablo PD in a social media post.

The fire was quickly put out by the Contra Costa County Fire District. The car and an attached commercial building were both unoccupied during the incident, confirmed police.

The estimated value of damage to the vehicle was not disclosed.
