The Nazareth Area High School field hockey team had to withstand pressure at the start and end of its cross-conference contest against Northwestern Lehigh Thursday night.

Against the run of play, the Blue Eagles opened the scoring halfway through the second quarter and doubled their lead with 6:38 left in the third quarter.
