Evening thunderstorms delayed the start of the Northwestern Lehigh High School girls soccer team ’s game against Saucon Valley on Thursday night by more than 30 minutes.

When the Tigers and their electric junior forward Sophia Schaffer eventually got on the field, they showed off their own flashes of power, storming through the Panthers for an 8-0 victory.
