ROCKFORD, Ill. (WREX) — Rockford non-profit Rock House Kids celebrated its 26th anniversary Thursday night with a special fundraiser.

The event featured an evening of dinner and prayer, live and silent auctions, a 50/50 raffle, and special performances.

Rock House Kids provides programming for 250 1st through 12th graders each week.

This annual event is the organization's largest fundraiser, supporting RHK throughout the year.

“It helps us keep our doors open. It helps us make sure we are able to get fuel for our vans because we go and pick up our kids, it helps us provide programs that we do for our kids, it helps us get supplies that we need, anything we do for programming this is what it helps for,” explained Dee Lacny, Rock House Kids Executive Director.
