There are three areas that elected and civic leaders need to focus on. Without coordinated effort, patience, and the political will to be honest with the taxpayers, Toledo will not climb out of its deep population deficit.

After the loss of over 30 percent of our population Toledo cannot afford to maintain services, repairs, and improvements to every area. Certain neighborhoods must be abandoned, the remaining housing stock and abandoned commercial structures
