URBANA — Urbana High School could not quite overcome the absence of its top two running backs and fell to visiting South River 19-14 on Thursday night.

Leading rusher Cayden McIver missed the game with a shoulder injury, and second-leading rusher Robert Preston was inactive due to an ankle issue.
