A New Mexico lawmaker is set to introduce a bill in January to investigate activities at Zorro Ranch, the property previously owned by Jeffrey Epstein, located an hour outside of Albuquerque.

Despite Epstein's death in a New York jail six years ago, his name remains in the headlines, with recent allegations from a woman named Maggie Farmer, who claimed she was flown to the ranch at 16 years old.

Democratic state Rep. Andrea Romero said she plans to introduce a bill that would establish a "truth commission" with subpoena power to investigate what occurred at the ranch.

"The first point of the commission is to tell the truth about what went on so that we know what we can do to remedy these situations," Romero said.
