Autumn is a nice lull between the active summer season and the busy holiday events ahead. Many people call it the “shoulder season,” when the weather is still nice enough to be outside, but the cooler evenings allow us to enjoy cuddling with our cats. Now that summer visitors have gone and the kids are back in school, things are quieter and our cats, creatures of habit that they are, appreciate fewer disruptions in their schedules and long lazy days.

Now, is a good time to do a little extra cat care. If your cat is due for a vet visit, make the appointment now and spare him a ride in a cold car during the winter.
