On a sloppy Wednesday afternoon at home, the Falmouth High School girls’ soccer team was unable to get anything going offensively and dropped a 3-0 decision to visiting Nauset. The loss left FHS at 2-6 overall on the season.
“It was not our day. We had too many mistakes,” Coach Jenna Noelte said.
The Warriors came alive in the second half to put the game out of reach. A mistake on a ball near the net led to an own goal to give NHS the 1-0 lead. The visitors then cashed in a nice feed to the back post that found an open player in the box for a put-in. The Warriors later scored on a penalty to account for the final score.
