WHITTIER— It has been nearly a decade since the Los Altos football team went undefeated in their nonleague games.

But for the first time since 2016, the Conquerors are 5-0 following their 52-27 win over California High on Thursday night.

It has been a dominant start to the year for the Conquerors’ offense, producing their third game where they totaled over 50 points.

Los Altos coach Dale Ziola said the team’s 5-0 start is a testament to how hard they’ve worked after missing the CIF Southern Section playoffs last season.

“It’s really huge,” Ziola said. “Especially where we’ve come since 2022. The biggest thing about this win is our growth and maturity.”

Conquerors two-way star Evan Rojas had his best game of the season, scoring three touchdowns and gaining over 150 total yards.
