Rivalry season in high school football rolls on in the Western Slope as the WarDog game returns to Stocker Stadium tonight.

Central and Palisade will square off in another key game for each team. Before tonight’s 7 p.m. kickoff, here’s a look at how each squad stacks up for this year’s contest.

Central enters on a six game losing streak dating back to November 2024. The Warriors are 0-4 to open this season, and have been outscored 143-56 across those four games.

Early in the season, the Warriors played better than the numbers suggest. In their Week two matchup with Grand Junction, the Warriors hung tough, keeping the game to within one score in an eventual 36-29 defeat.
