COLUMBIANA, Ohio - An upcoming Volleyball game is raising money for a teammate battling cancer.
The game between Heartland Christian School and Lisbon on Tuesday, September 30, is being dedicated to Ariana, a student who is battling Ewing Sarcoma.
The disease is a rare bone cancer that affects about 250 cases per year in the U.S.
Ariana plays on the middle school volleyball team for Heartland Christian.
The GoFundMe for Ariana says doctors found a mass around her rib in August and she's getting treatment for the disease.
The game begins at 5:30 p.m. and will feature a bake sale, raffle tickets, bracelets, stickers and t-shirts for sale to support her battle against cancer.
