Fleeing: Warrensville Center Road

Officers conducted a traffic stop around 2 a.m. Sept. 16 and found that the driver was under suspension.

Moments later, the vehicle fled from the stop at a high rate of speed. Unfortunately for the driver, he had just told officers where he lived.

Officers responded to the man’s Cleveland Heights home and found his vehicle parked unoccupied on the roadway. It was towed and the following day, officers spoke to the registered owner. She confirmed that her son had been driving the vehicle and said that he fled because he was scared. She was told that the vehicle would be released when she came to the station with her son.

Charges for failure to comply and other traffic offenses were filed against the 22-year-old man.
