Prince Harry and Meghan Markle are set to be awarded the Project Healthy Minds’ Humanitarians of the Year Award next month.

The Duke and Duchess of Sussex will head to New York City to be awarded for their advocacy on mental health at a glitzy gala on October 9.

Harry and Meghan will then attend Project Healthy Minds' fourth annual World Mental Health Day the following day.

According to the organisation, Harry and Meghan will receive the award for their “global efforts in building a safer, more equitable digital world for families and youth, and their meaningful contributions to advancing mental well-being worldwide.”

The Sussexes will also team up with Project Healthy Minds to co-produce a series of “conversations on how people can make a difference” in partnership with their Archewel
