According to this week's property transfer records for Chatham County, the 28-room boutique hotel at 225 E. Bay St. in downtown Savannah sold on Sept. 8 for $6.3 million, more than 58% above its Zillow.com "zestimate."

The three-story Savannah gray brick structure was built in 1853 in the Reynolds Ward and houses Debi's Restaurant on Bay on the first floor. What the new owners, VHREHVII East Bay, LLC., plan for the hotel is not clear at this time.

Curious what other properties transferred in Chatham, Bryan and Effingham counties this week?
