RALEIGH, N.C. (WTVD) -- A stationary front approaching central North Carolina will bring unsettled weather through the weekend, with the potential for locally heavy rain and a flood risk, particularly on Saturday.
Over the weekend, rainfall totals are expected to range from one to three inches with some areas getting more.
On Friday, the greatest chance for scattered storms will come later in the day as a cold front moves in. Gusty winds are also possible, and temperatures will be slightly cooler with highs in the 80s.
This wet pattern will continue into next week. Over the next seven days, rainfall totals are forecasted from three to over six inches. Flash flooding is also possible from these locally heavy downpours.
