CHARLOTTE, N.C. — A woman was killed in a shooting at a southwest Charlotte hotel on Friday morning, police said.

It happened at the WoodSpring Suites along Deboer Avenue, which is just off West Arrowood Road, around 9:15 a.m. Medic confirmed its crews responded to the scene. Charlotte-Mecklenburg Police confirmed that the woman was pronounced dead at the scene. CMPD hasn't identified the victim.

A CMPD spokesperson said there was a disturbance or dispute in the hotel that apparently led to the shooting.

So far, no arrests have been made. CMPD hasn't identified a suspect or released any suspect information.
