Bhubaneswar: In view of the heavy rainfall prediction and thunderstorm warning issued by the Meteorological Department, the Koraput district administration has declared a holiday for all schools in the district on Saturday (September 27).

The decision has been taken to ensure the safety of students and avoid any inconvenience due to possible waterlogging on the way to schools. While schools will remain closed, teachers and other staff have been asked to report for duty and provide support to field officials if needed.
