(PINPOINT WEATHER) -- Happy Friday! We are tracking a warm and muggy start to the day, with temperatures in the upper 60s and lower 70s. A few light raindrops for the morning commute will be followed by scattered showers and storms as the cold front slowly moves through. High temperatures will rise into the upper 70s and lower 80s.

The front will linger heading into the start of the weekend, so we can expect more widespread rain and thunderstorms to start the day on Saturday, becoming more hit-or-miss for the afternoon and evening. Storms are not expected to bring severe weather, but could cause isolated instances of high water over the next couple of days.
