KIRKLAND, NY (WUTR/WFXV/WPNY) -- Oneida County Sheriffs are asking for the public's help in an investigation into a vandalism case in the town of Kirkland.

Sheriffs say in a release on Friday, September 26 that the incident occurred between Tuesday, September 9 and Thursday, September 11, possibly during the overnight hours. According to Oneida County Sheriffs, a vehicle -- possibly a side-by-side UTV, had driven through two soybean fields.

One of the vandalized soybean fields is located on Skyline Drive in the town, while the other is situated on Cemetery Road, a seasonal road that connects Skyline Drive and Skinner Road.

The exact amount of the damage is unknown; however, it is thought to be extensive.
