PAUL SMITH’S COLLEGE, New York (WWNY) - A homicide suspect related to a murder in Cohoes, New York, has been located, according to New York State Police.
Anthony Bechand, age 53, was located after New York State Police received tips about a suspicious individual walking on State Route 86, near Paul Smith’s College in Farklin County at 7:30 AM September 26th.
Franklin County Sheriff Deputies and New York State Troopers patrolled the area and found a man identified as Anthony Bechand. Bechand was taken into custody for further questioning.
Bechand allegedly fled to the Town of Brighton in Franklin County after allegedly killing his girlfriend, Amanda Rodriguez, in Cohoes, New York, on September 14.
