Artificial intelligence has become one of the most hyped emerging technologies for the healthcare sector, spurring hopes it could help solve the heavy burden of administrative tasks on providers and manage vast troves of inaccessible data.

But implementing AI can be challenging for healthcare organizations, given the resources needed to put the technology in place and ensure it continues to work well.
