The Moorhead Spuds (3-1) welcome the defending Class 6A football champion and top-ranked Maple Grove (4-0) Crimson to Jim Gotta Stadium. The contest is slated for 6 p.m. Friday, Sept. 26.
The Spuds will once again start junior Austin Dryburgh at quarterback with Jett Feeney sidelined due to injury. Dryburgh completed 18 of 27 passes for 233 yards, two touchdowns and an interceptions in a 28-27 win over Wayzata.
Maple Grove quarterback Kaden Harney, a South Dakota State commit, is a combo threat for the Crimson. Harney has 428 passing yards and six touchdowns, while rushing for 186 yards on 22 attempts.
North Dakota State has dropped two of the past three recent matchups against the University of South Dakota.
