MUNCIE, Ind. — A Delaware County man has been charged with felony aggravated battery after police say he stabbed another person several times with two separate knives.

Shawn Goodwin, 53, was arrested Thursday afternoon by Muncie police after they were called to investigate a stabbing. Goodwin has since been booked into Delaware County Jail and is currently being held without bond on one count of aggravated battery with a deadly weapon.

Court documents detail how MPD officers were called around 11:30 a.m. to a stabbing in the 1500 block of E. Highland Avenue. Upon arrival, they located a victim who was suffering from "multiple stab and cut wounds" on his torso, legs and hands.
