LEXINGTON, Ky. (FOX 56) — University of Kentucky police arrested Jamarion Wilcox, 21, on Friday, stemming from reports in August of alleged sexual abuse.

A Spokesperson for the Lexington Police Department (LPD) told FOX 56 News that Wilcox, a running back for UK from Douglasville, Georgia, was arrested on Sept. 26 following an Aug. 20 report of "unwanted sexual contact" at a residence on the 500 block of South Upper Street.

He was charged with first-degree sexual abuse and lodged in the Fayette County Detention Center on a $5,000 cash bond.

Court records show that a protective order had been filed against Wilcox on Aug. 20, but was recalled the next day. He is due in court on Nov. 3 in connection with the order petition.

Wilcox led the Wildcats in rushing in 2024.
