LEXINGTON, Ky. — University of Kentucky running back Jamairon Wilcox has been arrested and charged with sexual abuse.

Lexington police received a report of unwanted sexual contact at a home on S. Upper Street on Aug. 20, 2025. 21-year-old Wilcox was arrested Friday, Sept. 26 and charged with Sexual Abuse 1st Degree. He was taken to the Fayette County Detention Center.

According to the detention center website, Wilcox is being held on $5,000 full cash bond.

Wilcox remains on the UK football roster. The school issued a statement and said, “We are aware of the situation with Jamarion and will continue to gather information and monitor the situation closely. He will continue to be withheld from competition and will not travel to South Carolina.“
