Last month, the highly anticipated film adaptation of The Thursday Murder Club was released on Netflix.

Based on the first novel in Richard Osman's book series, the film boasted an impressive cast and featured the likes of Pierce Brosnan, Ben Kingsley, Celia Imrie and Helen Mirren , with Chris Columbus.

The story focuses on four retired residents who all live at Coopers Chase retirement village in an idyllic English countryside setting. Although every week they gather together to investigate unsolved mysteries.

However, trouble soon unfolds when the amateur detectives find themselves embroiled in a real case when a murder happens.
