VAIL, Ariz. (KVOA) - The Rincon Valley Fire District rescued a family from floodwaters on Thursday night.

On the night of Sept. 25, the Rincon Valley Fire crew responded to Old Spanish Trail for a swift water rescue.

Officials said twelve firefighters were on the scene and seven crew members helped the family out of the area, including two adults and three minors.

No injuries were reported in the incident.

The Rincon Valley Fire District reminds residents to "turn around, don't drown," as floodwaters can rise quickly.
