When the Ravens signed experienced veterans John Jenkins and Joseph Noteboom during the offseason, it was for situations like Sunday's game against the Kansas City Chiefs.

Jenkins will play a major role in the defensive line rotation with Nnamdi Madubuike (neck) and Broderick Washington Jr (ankle) out . Noteboom is expected to make his first start for the Ravens at left tackle if Ronnie Stanley (ankle) doesn't play.

Jenkins' role increased in Week 3 when he played nearly half of the defensive snaps, and he could play even more against Kansas City. While the Ravens' run defense struggled against the Detroit Lions, Head Coach John Harbaugh was encouraged by what he saw from Jenkins.
