Round 1 of the Fortinet Cup Championship at Morgan Creek Golf Course was one for the record books.
American golfer Jay Card III fired a course-record 6-under 64 on Thursday (Sept. 25) to take the first-round lead at the PGA TOUR Americas event at the South Surrey course.
Card, who entered the week No. 5 on the season-long Fortinet Cup points list, made eight birdies, tied for the most on the day.
