Could the B.C. Lions be coming up to Kelowna?
On Sept. 26 at 10 a.m., the team posted on social media that they will be making a "major" announcement after the first quarter of their game on Friday night against the Toronto Argonauts.
According to sources, the announcement will be in relation to the Lions playing their first two games of the 2026 season in Kelowna at the Apple Bowl. A TSN reporter has posted on social media about the Lions coming to Kelowna.
Back in August, the CFL confirmed that both B.C. and Toronto would be relocating a couple of games to start next season due to the 2026 World Cup, but in Lions case, the locations have not been announced yet.
Black Press Media reached out to the City of Kelowna, which did not confirm the claim.
