BEAUFORT COUNTY, S.C. (WCSC) - The South Carolina Law Enforcement Division has charged five men for using another’s United States citizen’s Social Security Number.
Francisco Ramirez Santiago, 43, Pablo Ramirez Santiago, 46, Arelio Saul Galicia De Leon, 53, Erick Alfons Clauel Gonzalez, 28 and Jose Moreno Romero, 56, have all been charged with identity fraud.
The affidavit stated that Francisco allegedly used another U.S. citizen’s SSN to obtain employment at O’Hara Outdoor. It was later confirmed that he was a foreign national collecting wages associated with a fake SSN, according to the Social Security Administration.
Pablo was arrested for using a California resident’s SSN, Leon was arrested for using a deceased U.S. citizen’s SSN and Romero was arrested for using a Virginia resident’
