With Starbucks announcing the closure of hundreds of its stores nationwide, the question now is, which stores are on the chopping block?
Starbucks CEO Brian Niccol informed employees via the official Starbucks blog on Thursday, Sept. 25, that the company plans to close 1% of its stores and cut 900 non-retail positions . The closures and cuts were necessary to reduce expenses, improve financial performance and prioritize resources, according to Niccol.
The Reno Gazette Journal reached out to Starbucks to confirm if any Nevada locations will be part of the closures.
