WILLIAMSON COUNTY, Ill. (KFVS) - A southern Illinois group home for recovering addicts is now at the center of an illegal drug investigation.

The Williamson County Sheriff’s Office shared several photos on Facebook of the home on Morningside Drive in Marion with a large sign in the yard reading “This drug house is closed.”

Investigators say one of the residents made a large drug sale to an undercover officer, which led them to search the property on Thursday, September 25.

During that search, they reported finding methamphetamine, controlled substances, digital scales and more.

Deputies took one person into custody, and warrants are out for the arrest of three others.
