ROANE COUNTY, Tenn. — The body of a deceased man was found in the middle of Caney Creek Road, near Joiner Hollow Road in Roane County, around 4 a.m. this morning, according to the Roane County Sheriff's Office.

Police found a vehicle that the man is believed to have been in, crashed down an embankment less than a mile away from where the body was found.

The body has been sent off for an autopsy, according to RCSO.
