Scattered showers with thunderstorms are cruising along the Gulf Coast breeze and moving over the area beaches. Locally heavy rainfall, frequent lightning and gusty wind will be the main hazards through early evening. Isolated showers with storms will be possible through around 10 pm as the straggler showers reach the Atlantic beaches.

The unsettled pattern continues with scattered showers and thunderstorms developing Saturday afternoon, as a weak front slips in from the north and collides with the Gulf and Atlantic sea breezes. Locally heavy rainfall, gusty wind and lightning will be possible again tomorrow.
