CAMP VERDE, AZ (AZFamily) — An inmate at the Yavapai County jail has been sentenced to an additional two decades after he was convicted of murder conspiracy and promoting prison contraband while in prison, according to the Yavapai County Sheriff’s Office . (YCSO)
The sheriff’s office said Friday that 36-year-old Levi Jones, who is from Phoenix, was sentenced to an additional 20 years in prison for these crimes.
YCSO said that investigators began looking into Jones after deputies learned that he was plotting crimes, including conspiracy to commit murder and witness intimidation, in connection with his murder case.
