CARY, N.C. (WTVD) -- Cary Police are investigating a single-car crash that involved a car riddled with bullets.

The crash happened just before 1 a.m. in the 500 block of East Chatham Street.

Police said the car had previously been involved in a shooting, but the early investigation indicated it didn't happen in Cary.

It remains unclear where the shooting took place.

Police said the driver was intoxicated but unharmed.

Mohammad Fayek Allan, 32, of Wake Forest, was charged with misdemeanor driving while impaired and misdemeanor impaired driving with license revoked.
