“To help keep customers informed, an automated call will be made to the phone number on file when a bill has been issued,” the utility said.

“Please do not mail cheques while the postal service is disrupted.”

The utility said it may not receive payments sent recently by mail until service resumes.

“Please make alternate arrangements for payment to avoid late fees and ensure your account stays in good standing,” the release said.
