SALT LAKE CITY – The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints released new pictures of the Salt Lake City Temple Friday, as it nears completion.

In 2019, church leaders closed the temple for renovations. The latest estimate for the temple’s reopening is set for 2026.

“As construction continues, guests are invited to experience the progress being made on Temple Square,” the Church said on X. “Several areas are currently open to the public, including the Joseph Smith Memorial Building, the Salt Lake Tabernacle, and the nearby Church History Museum and FamilySearch Library.”
